Ski Room Tracking System
A platform for ski rental rooms that brings rentals, inventory, lockers, customers, lessons and staff together in one place. The cashier, staff, lessons and customer self-service kiosk screens all work on the same data in real time.
About the project
A ski rental room's day peaks in the morning: customers arrive at once, they are measured, equipment is prepared, lockers are handed out, and in the evening everything comes back. The Ski Room Tracking System makes every step of that flow visible from one screen.
Customers enter their own measurements at the kiosk and the system calculates the DIN value for the binding setting. The cashier creates the rental, staff prepare the order item by item and hand it over with a barcode. On return every item is scanned back in and any damage is recorded. At the end of the day revenue, stock and occupancy reports are ready.
The system runs on the business's own computer, and the data stays in the business's own database. It installs with ready packages for Windows and macOS, and the licence is protected by a digitally signed, device-specific key.
What it does
Customer Kiosk
Customers find themselves by name or phone and enter height, weight, shoe size, age and level. The DIN value is calculated automatically, family members are measured one after another and the order goes straight to the cashier.
Cashier and Rentals
Customer selection, packages and equipment, pricing by number of days, exchange rates and locker assignment on a single screen. Daily revenue, active rentals and pending handovers appear on the overview panel.
Order Preparation and Returns
Staff take orders from the pool and assign a specific item from stock to every line. On return the items are scanned, and missing or damaged equipment is recorded.
Inventory and Lockers
Every ski, boot and helmet is tracked individually by item code: on the shelf, with a customer or in maintenance. Lockers are grouped by block and size and linked to customers and rentals.
Lessons and Schedules
Ski and snowboard lessons are planned on an instructor-based schedule. Instructors get an automatic Telegram message when a lesson is assigned and 15 minutes before it starts.
Reports and Security
Financial and operational reports export to Excel and PDF, and the database is backed up automatically every day. All panels are protected by a daily login code.
